Today was a bad day. I’d been off work for 1 week on holiday and accomplished diddly as usual although it didn’t help that my holiday was shifted by 3 weeks ruining my plans 
Anyway back to work today with (as I previously mentioned) the day wasting shift of 10am – 7pm – boooo! On the plus side I’m drastically changing my diet by going low carb for a while to help with shifting some of my weight. If you don’t know what that means go ahead and think ‘Atkins Diet’. It’s not as strict but I know it works and is simple to stick to at work 
Right back to the day at work! Got in to work on time and even remembered where I’d left all my uniform and stuff – GO ME! 
Make my way into work on a gorgeous day and initially discover I’m to do the break in the kiosk. No problems and off I go.
Sign into the till for the first problem of the day – password change required! My old password was easy to remember but damn thinking up a new password was a pain in the bum. Got there in the end though. Serve a few customers and all seems well until someone ask for some cigarettes which I’m positive have moved in the week I’ve been off.
That threw me off completely. Never mind though always the lottery terminal to cheer me up! I salvaged what I could of that stint (covering a break) and headed to my normal till. Which on possibly the nicest and even slightly warm feeling days had a heater going full blast! Melting is not fun
From then on nothing really went wrong which was a relief. Luckily there was amusement at lunch time from my cats when I went home to feed the,. Both showed up ready to bite my arm off at the first sign of any food only for one of them to get to the bowl first. She started eating and shut the other cat out. I opened a second pack of food and put it down for cat #2 only for the comedy to ensue.
Cat #1 detecting a new flavour of food being served decided to abandon her original choice of food and try the new stuff much to cat #2′s dismay. Then she switched back and forth taking one mouthful at a time from each bowl leaving the other cat somewhat confused. Was quite funny to watch I have to admit.
More work (which dragged something rotten) but then I got some good news on my break whilst reading Twitter. Some big names/rumours were flying for Sonisphere again and at least one had been confirmed. Which made me happy. A quick check on the web revealed the full list of bands that were released today:

This news made me unbelievably excited. I stopped to tell anyone who would listen and I reckon I might even have sold some tickets on excited chatter alone! Quite a few bands that are a) awesome b) AWESOME and c) A-W-E-S-O-M-E! Summer just seems so far away.
On my way home from work I bragged some more about the bands I was going to see and that’s about the extent of my day….Shame about the having to go to work eh? Not to worry! My next holiday is on 21st March
